OFFICIAL RULES
Photo Contest "San Miniato to Rome – Jubilee 2025"
Art. 1 – Promoting Organization
This photo contest is promoted by the San Miniato Promotion Foundation, headquartered in San Miniato (PI), represented by its Board of Directors, with the aim of promoting the region and highlighting the stretch of the Via Francigena that crosses San Miniato on the occasion of the Jubilee 2025.
Art. 2 – Purpose
The contest aims to highlight the presence of pilgrims along the Via Francigena, encouraging the sharing of photographic content related to the journey from San Miniato to Rome, through the use of a T-shirt celebrating Jubilee 2025.
Art. 3 – How to Participate
Participation is free and open to all pilgrims or travelers walking the stretch of the Via Francigena between San Miniato and Rome by September 30, 2025. To participate, you must:
Follow the official Instagram account @sanminiatopromozione Wear the official contest T-shirt (available for free at participating locations) Take a photo along the Via Francigena between San Miniato and Rome Post the photo on Instagram by September 30, 2025 with: Hashtags: #sanminiato and #sanminiatopromozione Tag the account: @sanminiatopromozione
Art. 4 – Photo Requirements
Photos must be original, owned by the user, and must not contain copyrighted material, visible trademarks, or recognizable individuals without consent. Violent, obscene, offensive, or inappropriate content is not allowed. Filters, editing, and post-production tools are permitted as long as they do not alter the essence of the contest. The image format must be suitable for Instagram publication. By participating, the user grants the San Miniato Promotion Foundation consent to use the shared image through its promotional channels.
Art. 5 – Contest Duration
The contest runs from May 27, 2025, to September 30, 2025. Photos published after this date will not be considered.
Art. 6 – Selection and Jury
At the end of the contest, an internal jury composed of members of the San Miniato Promotion Foundation's Board will evaluate the submitted photos. The main criteria will be thematic coherence, artistic quality, and the ability to represent the journey and San Miniato.
Art. 7 – Prize
The winner will receive a basket of typical food and wine products from San Miniato, which will be shipped to the address provided by the winner via private Instagram message. If the winner is unreachable within 30 days of the notification, the prize will be awarded to another participant.
Note: The prize has a symbolic value and does not exceed the limits set by current regulations on prize contests. This contest is not subject to ministerial authorization (D.P.R. 430/2001, art. 6, paragraph 1, letter a).
Art. 8 – Usage Rights
By participating in the contest, the author grants San Miniato Promotion the non-exclusive, free, and perpetual right to publish, reproduce, and distribute the photograph, with the author's name indicated (when available), for promotional, editorial, and tourism purposes on:

Art. 9 – Personal Data Processing
The processing of personal data provided by participants will be carried out in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).
Art. 10 – Acceptance of the Rules
Participation in the contest implies full acceptance of all clauses in these rules.
