Festival del Pensiero Popolare

On the occasion of the festivity around Saint Rocco (on the 16th of August), a martyr who spent his life assisting the community of pilgrims on the road, this event dedicates to popular and contemporary theater. The festival takes place in Piazza Bonaparte, in the neighborhood called "Scioa", in the historic center of San Miniato.



The festival welcomes street artist and performance with live music shows, open air films and civic debates to rediscover the hidden places of the historic center. It sounds like a pilgrimage itself just like the one ancient pilgrims used to do in their travel.
